Hey everyone,
Love it or hate it a big part of Christmas is giving and receiving gifts. Some gifts are really personal and thoughtful from a significant other and you also get the generic, shower gel and socks from your grandmother!
This time around we want to hear of the funnest gift you've ever received or given to someone else! The reasoning can be anything from a running joke in your family or something more topical.

One year i asked for a coat.. i got a printer... (i didn't even have a computer)
The following year I asked for a coat, I got a travel bag. (I don't even have a passport)
I totally gave up on Christmas after that.
Not funny or silly, but it still rattles my cage after all these years..

This friend bought a group of us - 8 people or so a Xmas present all around the 20 pound mark. Decent thoughtful stuff.
I got a spinning fork you are supposed to use for pot noodles.
"Oh I knew with your sense of humour you would just love it"
Did I fig!
Next year, same thing... Good stuff all around. Me? Two little lights that slip over your thumbs you do magic tricks with.... I hate magic.
Given nothing I would have been neutral, content, neither up nor down.
I hope she likes her family size jar of Marmite and 3 pack of wood chisels (budget) she's getting this year.
That's the best thing I have heard @TheSaddestGirl

Toilet rolls have become a common gift in our family now... It started as a joke a few years ago but of course they always come in handy!
Of course, at this time of year they're always the festively decorated ones too!
