Word Hunt Diamond - Game 70

Welcome to the Word Hunt Diamond - Game 70

The game is open to all members.

Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted.

The aim of the game is to find the target number of words [as in the source used for the game] using only the letters in the grid.

This week`s "diamond" is as follows:

This week`s target is 79 words - using only the letters in the diamond - including one 9-letter words.

The rules:

Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter D.

No proper names are allowed.

Scottish words and American spellings are allowed.

Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [for example, BUDDY isn`t allowed]

Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter D

Only one word per post.

Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.

I will endeavour to give regular updates on each page [so as to avoid scrolling back] of the words found and the number of words still to be found.

The Word Hunt Diamond game is open to all members.

Good point about games with the letter S in grid. I`ll bear that in mind.

Don`t worry. It`s easy to miss words when so many are coming in at the same time, and to keep track with the updates.

You might be joking about chalking words on a blackboard next time, but I know that some quizzers do make lists of words. So, if it helps, go for it - nothing in the rules to say you can`t have a blackboard

Perhaps we should have a WHD special that starts later one week, @Bambino and @Mi-Amigo, for giggles 😉

See how it changes the speed of resolution and let some later risers in maybe? Just one-off, as a trial. The lunch time gap might slow it down a bit.

Thank you for thinking of me @pgn but I don't want to upset the apple cart just to accomodate me. The time of the WHD seems to suit everyone else. There's usually a few leavings by the time I log on, but not today. Everyone was just gung-ho today.:smileywink:
