Where were you when...

Following on from the JFK thread, where were you when:

JFK died - I wasn't born

Elvis died - not sure, I was 2!

Diana died - extremely hungover and, even though my Mum told me, the news didn't register until I woke up in the afternoon

9/11 - I was on my lunch hour and went home to pick up a pair of shoes (no idea why I remember that).  She told me what had happened and when I went back to work we spent the rest of the afternoon on the phone to my Mum as we worked in a building where we couldn't get radio reception and the internet was down.

7/7 - I was at work and waiting for new of my friend's husband and another friend's dad.  Thankfully they were both ok.

Can anyone else come up with any other dates in history like this?

You will never convince me...sorry, too much evidence to suggest otherwise. Please explain why they haven't been back? One mission? No!

Hmm, starting of at the conclusion you want and working backwards from that discounting evidence to the contrary, that seems unreasonable.

Just my entitled opinion. I don't wish to impose it on anyone else but believe what you think. I have had quite a few heated debates in the bars over the years. I like stirring the pot!!
