Knowing what I can buy over there, there's no way I'd pay those prices here...

Right so are you saying you prefer to buy wine in France and bring it home.....or ...is the Merlot here in UK better @MI5? I ask this because when I am in Spain and have the occasional glass of wine with friends...it's ok (in Spain) .....but whenever I have brought some home and tried it in the UK...I think God that's blumming awful (not that I am a wine drinker ...but just saying)

I'm saying, only buy French wine in France - they export the rubbish and keep the best for themselves.
