calling all booze experts:

I had a glass of house wine (Chardonay) at my local yesterday aftenoon/early evening

I asked for a small measure in a large stemmed glass filled up with lemonade

I got a medium measure served as above

I enjoyed the drink, as I usually have to have J20 (acid erosion of teeth) or diet coke (gut rot) or Guiness with blackcurrant = a pint as it comes in a can with widget machine to give it a head, but I don't feel comfortable holding a pint glass - my hands are rather small

I'm struggling with drinks at this hotel/bar/restaurant

they serve good coffee

I've noticed a vanilla & a raspberry bottle of clear liquid & had my suspicions confirmed that it is vodka = so another time I can try these drinks with lemonade

I also enjoy an amaretto liqueur coffee as suggested some time ago by @aldaweb

I'm not a lager/bitter drinker

I don't mind a soft cider, but only served in pint bottles at my local

that glass of wine/lemonade well = I think it was responsible for making my right hand shake on the mouse when I got home and on the laptop, my left hand had to steady it at the wrist ??? Don't know

Hopefully the shakes have now gone but I've never experienced that reaction thankfully.

hi Cleoriff & jonsie

no shakes this morning, thankfully

never had that happen to me before

if anyone had seen me they probably thought I was a retired alcoholic with the dt's

it's not funny, so I can't put a smiley up

just grateful it's gone away
