As part of the #o2surprise that I received last week, there was a jar of smiles. Many were keen to see what would come out of the jar each day, so here are the ones so far!

The one that I picked out on Friday was "If you want to see the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain".

This morning I picked out "Relax and reflect. A bad day doesn't mean it's a bad life".

Don't Judge a Book by its Cover ....... = ....... old saying.

Originally books were all brown = front & back.

Personally an image on the flysheet of the front of a book gets me interested, I expect it to hint at the genre it is.

It's alright to have some publishers blurb on the back of a book, so long as it doesn't 'give the game away'.

Even down the spine of a book, preferably just title & author, so I can organize my books.

Some really good picture quotes above: @blissgirl & @Cleoriff

"Put your Priorities in Order" .................. Miss Jayne Tumelty, Principal of her own school of dancing, West Yorkshire ............... I was a tender 17 year old, & she asked me if I wanted to teach at her school ....... I was surprised & I replied as I was studying for GCE 'A' levels then, I would be unable to do both ....... Jayne understood and replied 'Put your priorities in order, I do'.

Gained my place at teacher trainer college - Lancaster St Martins ... but ... just couldn't understand the theory. I would have made a darn good NTA Non Teaching Assistant, but they weren't around then. Drifted into office work. Always wanted to be a teacher of Art & Design / Geography.
