Alabama Shakes - Sound & Colour

Was home in Wales yesterday so managed to grab my vinyl player and bring it back with me.

WOW !!! ... ... ... Yeah the Warm sound of Vinyl

I use the cd part of my son's mini stack sound system ... ... ... had the opportunity to have my late mum & dad's music set up with a vinyl player on the top of the stack ....... it was stored on a Taunton Vale trolly in their lounge ..... however ..... my living room is chocca ..... = ..... so many bewildering to me wires ..... but ..... how I deliberated over saying yes ....... there is a place in town called The Sound Bar = only a small shop serving real ale, wine, tea and coffee but it has vinyl albums displayed in the traditional way ... & ... loadsa memorabillia in pristine condition around the place ... cd's too ... I bought a Kings of Leon cd after hearing it on the deck = the one with the palm tree on the cover ... ... ... my 33rpm vinyl lp's havn't been played in nearly 30 years ..... my favourite one is in mono = The Beatles: A Hard Day's Night in the days when a 12" square lp cover was considered artwork.
