Sweet dreams and a restful night to you too @Anonymous.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble sleeping @jonsie. I have no suggestions to help you that I'm sure the nurses haven't already tried.

Maybe @Cleoriff has some ideas.

Not when anyone is stuck in hospital @Glory1 slight_frown

Noisiest places when you are trying to sleep.

It's the snoring, belching, breaking wind, shouting and pressing the bell for attention all night long that does it. I must stop rofl

Believe me I know how noisy hospital can be @Cleoriff. My last stay I was stuck with a woman who really should have been in a mental ward. She would scream, swear and complain all night long. Eventually they moved her next door - the lady there was deaf - and kept the doors shut.

I managed to sleep due to fear of what was going happen to me next day. For me sleep was an escape but then I wasn't in pain. My problem was I couldn't walk and no one seemed to know why. You name a test and I had it - at least once!

However, nothing I experienced in any of my hospital stays compares with what @jonsie has gone through and is still going through. @jonsie as I've said before you are a very brave man.

Hope you managed to get some rest @jonsie.

Liam Gallagher tickets went on sale via Priority this morning, and I was poised at the very second they were released - alas for Manchester the standing tickets had all gone inside 46 seconds 😞 Ah well, general sale on Friday to have another go.

Oh dear @Glory1 far from it. If you knew the full details of my pleasant little stay at this quaint hotel, you would know that I'm far from brave.

Hi @jonsie Hug

Remember jigging about the dance floor to this music

Nowadays I remember it for the words

If I can't put a smile on my face I stay at home ... = ... lots of time

You have the courage to paint on a smile & you do @jonsie heart

Your loved ones will know this about you

I don't sleep in hospital, never have, I need quiet to sleep, even at home

I just wish I could make things better for you @jonsie

You're in our thoughts bouquet

@jonsie I appreciate you have not shared every detail of your stay in hospital but I could read between the lines of your heartfelt posts not so long ago. So I have some idea that, to put it mildly, it has been and is hell.

However, you have not lost your sense of humour, continue to provide help to other members and never really complain. And you are still with us. So yes I call you brave. I'm not sure had I been in your position I could have done the same. In fact, I know I couldn't.

Like @Anonymous I also wish there was something I could do to ease your suffering. But please know that, for what it's worth, you are always in my thoughts and prayers.
