I'm with you @gmarkj. I prefer the winter because at least you can wrap up and get warm. When it's hot, no matter how little you wear it's still uncomfortably hot.

Oh I can't stand it as much now @Glory1...not in the UK. I like the sun but not as hot as this.My days of laying on a sun lounger from 9am to 7pm are well over and done with 
When abroad you can always jump in the pool
Still I will not moan about the sun, we dont get enough of it as it is...

No I never moan about the sun @Cleoriff as you say we don't get enough of it. What I hate is when every move you make brings water streaming down your face. Had it this afternoon after a bath in tepid water. I was fine till I started to towel myself dry, then water streamed down my face into my glasses. Now that's the weather I hate.

You shower with your glasses on @Glory1? Something i have never thought about tbh. If I'm ever able to take a shower then I think I would néed to take off my glasses, my hearing aid and of course my leg. I'm having to pay for assisted showers starting next week. I so wish I could just jump in the shower as needed. Quite looking forward to my first shower in 5 months next week. Probably be a cold spell.....
