Wondering about you @jonsie ... hoping you are safe and alright ... wishing you a good night's peaceful rest

With retirement comes the freedom to eat when I'm hungry ... do what I want when I like ... and for me sleep when I'm tired ... ... ... I need a lot of sleep in order to function anything like 'normal'

Here's wishing all of the community a peaceful night's sleep

And it's raining. Still. Pffft! Dark, too.

I'll just leave this here, from a previous age, looking at the date, but...

I look out over the garden, the plants are going back for winter. The Hydrangeas have pretty dried flowers now, the Lucifer have long arching stems with rows of orangey coloured seed on the birds jump on them and they bend gently!
It is raining but so lovely the rain fills the bird baths and makes the patio shine.

Lots of wildlife darting through the large fuchsia bush (2, really, but the light pink one seems to be taking over the darker more distinct fuchsia-coloured one!) outside the front window - fuchsia seeds seem to be occasionally eaten, but mainly the birds are looking for insects, by the look of it.

I have a hardy fuchsia bush in the middle of my front lawn. It's still flowering now!

Had it for years and it never fails. Cut it right back at the end of November and it starts growing again in Spring. Probably one of the best plants I've ever bought.

Very surpised at my container plants as well.

Considering I bought these online at an excellent price, delivered to my door, most are still going strong.

The geraniums, pot fuschias, begonias etc. The surfinia's have died, but I still have a good lot of plants still going.

The rain I've had enough of though!
