I seem to be waking up at odd times these days ... possibly due to natural daylight in early morning.

I do like my bed to rest & relax on.

I have reached the stage in life when I sleep when I'm tired ... & ... (eat when I'm hungry).

Glad to see that it does not seem to be causing you problems ; and it will be Autumn and then Winter all too soon. 😀

Well, @Oxonian ..... mostly my time is my own at my age ..... in the olden days mankind was 'governed' by natural daylight ..... I don't like to waste time or wish time away, but my days of doing lots of things each day are over ..... my son recently was very kind and understanding to me ... = ... I said to him I don't seem to do much - he immediately responded by saying 'You don't have to mum' - this comforted me ever so much. Him and his wife are up in Tyne & Wear, I am in North Yorkshire and don't drive and what with the trains being very unreliable I'm not confident travelling to see them and he does not want me to travel using the train. Alex rings me every 7 / 10 days or so at his convenience. It is the best thing to hear his voice. It is now nearing 3am. These trips to the bathroom during the night disrupt my sleeping pattern, for what it is ..... thank you for replying @Oxonian hope your night is peaceful

@RunrigForeverI don't drive eaither  I tend to walk everywhere but like you I don't use the trains

I get about using a 4-wheeled walking aid, walk a bit, sit a bit, repeat. It's fine. Local bus services could be better though. Hope you had a peaceful night's rest @blissgirl xx ☺️

Tempted to get tickets for Bruce Springsteen in Sunderland at the Stadium of Light ..... It's Now or Never ! ..... concert is timed at 4pm later on in the month ..... # thinking the Boss xx

@blissgirl seemingly tickets are available atm ..... my son and daughter-in-law live in Tyne & Wear ..... just wishing to be there = long time since I was at a pop concert - Moody Blues at the Arena, National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham - son is 39 now, he wasn't born then xx
