Thank you for posting.
Around here, particularly on the canal towpath, cyclists rule silently.
No bell to warn pedestrians they are coming along behind you. So when I move to one side to allow for oncoming pedestrian(s) It is a right mish-mash.
I understand it is illegal to sell a bicycle without a bell, but legal to cycle without a bell.
I am sure you GrumpyGit use a bell and are considerate to other users of road / cycleway / towpath etc.

Of course I use my bell.. my timber bell.. You can hear me coming a mile off.

Anything that makes life better for us non car users has to be worth it!

Well, today has been interesting:

Mild weather continues, dodging showers

Bill at the pub was well under a tenner 

Been in the company of a good friend I've not seen since hospitality lifted earlier in the month 

Enjoyed the Friday Night Movie = Sci-Fi on Netflix which is a first for me

Well the weather is miserable here but at the Hungaroring in Hungary it was melting the tyres on the F1 cars yesterday at nearly 40c. Today expected to reach 28c. This is the last race before the summer break so I won't be moving far from the TV!
