Today the Postponed special birthday treat for my son and myself and other halves. HAPPENED ! by skin of our teeth

Train from South Coast to St Pancras, for the inaugural journey of the new Midland Pullman train.          St Pancras to Stockport area via Leicester . Return  via  Kettering 

A Meal on board was given instead of a visit into Manchester.  Manchester was the home of 3 generations of our ancesters  from 1830.  It was unobtainable but we had a great day

 It was a private company, the train hadnt been used befor. Its been refurbished, Was deep cleansed before the start . Masks ; plastic screens between seats , sanitisers, staff in masks , gloves,  Each coach had seats specially designated, we didnt sit with our family they were 2 1/2 m away. Food, plates cutlery thoughtfully deat with. Because of her work my D-I L is tested several times a week so their bubble was proven ok .    The proof  is in  the pudding ....... I guess. I'll let you know.
