Well done @Anonymous for opening your doors and your home (and your heart?) to someone in dire need.
Friends of ours have fostered two girls for 3 years - initially short term but have now said they are not going anywhere! Very hard work but also incredibly rewarding.
Sounds like a great day @Jenny105 and probably went past our house (we are 20 minutes from Kettering).

Missed Skipton on Countryfile yesterday evening

Don't like creepy crawlies (an area of ONB/SSI featured in SE England) so didn't make Strictly Come Dancing either - was tired anyway

Saw Shooting Star ... left to right ... comet ... a sign of Good Luck ... ... ... unimpressed when my son told me it would have been some space junk.

I feel very sorry for her actually.

She has hardly done a Zayn. She has been the victim of atrocious online bullying for years.

For the sake of her mental health she has left Little Mix.

Some really sad people about who could bully a young lass. I hope we don't see another Caroline Flack.

Well said @Cleoriff

Shortly after Little Mix won X Factor, I was admin for an online Little Mix fan website and with the online bullying of Jesy on social media the website was also plagued with trolls and bullies who we had to ban. Fortunately we had contact with the band members` mothers and were able to pass on the messages of support we received for Jesy on the website and privately.

I wish Jesy all the best and hope that she can weather the storm of these bullies.

It's not often I comment in general opinion threads, but the abuse this poor girl has had to endure, from day 1, has been atrocious.
Anyone who thinks that is acceptable needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

On 18 March 2015, following the band's 16th show of the tour, it was announced that Malik had become overwhelmed with stress, and would be absent for the remaining shows of the Asian leg of the tour.  A week later, on 25 March 2015, the band announced his departure.

While his case may not have been as public as hers, in essence he suffered the same and his time in the band came to an end, like hers has.

Not even a year later he was on the road to solo stardom.
I don't condone bullying, but people in the spotlight (however young or old) have to expect this kind of ****. You don't get that kind of fame / popularity, without some kind of grief.  which these stars seem to like.. until they don't. Isn't the constant intrusion, no personal space and paps at your door considered 'The Price of Fame' ?

Maybe she has done it for her well-being, but look at Zayn .. the woe is me act lasted until his solo album went to number 1 and then he'd managed to deal with his issues.

No he didn't suffer the same as Jesy @Anonymous

For one thing, he wasn't bullied. Far from it, next to Harry Styles he was the most popular member of One Direction.

He may have suffered with stress but that's nothing to do with bullying.

Jesy's stress has everything to do with the bullying, trolling and downright hideous comments she has received since Little Mix started.

If she does recover enough to release a solo album then good for her, though I suspect she is bowing out of any limelight for a while.

I hope she receives a lot of support now. God knows she needs it.
