Here's a first for a long time....I am watching football

More importantly watching Coventry City fight in the playoffs. They are currently beating Notts County 4-1

Unless Notts pull off a miracle.... we are ON OUR WAY TO WEMBLEY to play Exeter

(in the hope we move out of League 2)

Thank you to @Cleoriff @Glory1 & @jonsie for your kind, thoughtful understanding words above  ^  ^  ^  regarding me going to a funeral today ... it all went off very well ... = ... my good friend did his dad proud ... there were 150 people I heard afterwards ... I just had a little 'sniffle' = I should have had a paper tissue ready in my hand = to get one from my handbag would have been noisy in the quiet of the chapel ... the 'family only' flowers were beautiful ... I hoped I didn't go down as the woman with cat hairs on her funeral outfit & bright pink nails 

I thoroughly enjoyed a steady stroll around the grounds, which were neat & well looked after ... saw a scampering squirrel ... I liked sitting on a bench thinking good thoughts about my dad ... lovely warm sunny weather 

Yes, it's been a long day ... I shall sleep tonight

A once proud team have slowly been in decline for years....

It was so great to see the Sky Blue Army of 4000 fans who had travelled to the match, singing and chanting  the 'Sky Blue Songs'

It was as if we had won the World Cup...

I think so....going by the amount of people the news channels have rounded up who are 'also' getting married tomorrow

I tell you something, as much as I am looking forward to this wedding, I am appalled that all news channels lead with this story when we have heard of two terrible tragedies today.
