I'm just about coming round now, just in time for more morphine and my sleeping capsules. Nice little combination with a god awful taste but quite addictive. Thank you @Cleoriff how good of you to remember after only 7 or 8 reminders 
Strange how I had been thinking about hanging some balloons up in the room as a gentle reminder to the nursing staff tomorrow today. Think they may have realised when I said I didn't want the operation on the Saturday after holding up my hospital wrist ID
