All my nurses are kind to me because I don't complain and do as I'm told. They even cut my hair yesterday but wouldn't give me a mirror 😂😂😂

It actually was a fascinating insight Steve...slightly different from the usual over the top dramatic 'for effect' programmes about Diana.

For instance they spoke to the soldiers who travelled with the coffin on the horse led gun carriage on the way to Westminster Abbey.

The limited experience they had. Apparently were given ONE chance at lifting a coffin of the same weight as a rehearsal. They bumped into a door and the coffin was taken off them. During the 2 mile walk which took 3 hrs they were explaining the effect on the horses from people throwing flowers.... and if one had bolted.....

Apparently the soldiers had to wear thick padding on the shoulders because of the weight of the lead lined coffin..

How Elton John took just 3 hours to rewrite Candle in the Wind for the service.

It was also very sad because you did see the outpouring of grief from the public.....but from the perspective of the police and military. It was worth a watch....

The body is better preserved in case later exhumation is required Feedback

Could be a factor as well, I guess. Cremation seems a much more practical prospect, somewhow.
