It's that time of year again....Some love it and others hate it.... 
However, BBC have announced the first 'celebrity' to join the line up for Strictly Come Dancing 2017.
It's Mollie King from the girl band The Saturdays (Frankie Bridge from the same group appeared in 2014)

Correction: he's a damn good ballroom dancer. He's quite poor at the Latin ones and has been shown up more than once by his non-comedy partner over his lack of well, latin ability. He's got better over the years but going out early meant he never bothered.

Very good point @sheepdog. But are you sure 'his going out early meant he never bothered'? He is a bit cocky and while we may fault his latin ability I'm not sure he'd be in agreement. I think Anton thinks Anton 'is a damn good dancer'!

Actually he is good at ballroom and not bad at Latin...
My other half used to be responsible for booking events at the large council run venue he worked for.
Anton appeared there with Erin and they put on a great show which included all types of dance .
All the professionals have their own specialism and preferences. That said, I reiterate he isn't one of my favourites but pairing him constantly with those who can't dance is getting boring...

Not just boring @Cleoriff but unfair. Anton is one of several professional male dancers and they should all take their turn with the 'comedy act'. Let's hope the SCD producers see it our way. It would make a nice change.

Ah now I never thought of that @Cleoriff. So do the SCD Producers keep the status quo and stick Anton with the comedy act or go a new route and give her to one of the hot male totties risking losing them early?
Well considering the blah celebrities, personally I say let's stick to what we know and love - no comedy act to the male hot totties

Well tonight's the night for the pre-show. Looking forward to it and all set to record the series...
Sadly, Susan Calman the openly gay comedian, is suffering a lot of backlash from the LGBT community due to her decision 'to dance with a man'. As Susan says, she thinks this is very unfair...as other gay (male) contestants (Will Young, Judge Rinder and Richard Coles to name a few) never experienced such criticism.
