Yesterday my old Dad passed away. It was sudden and although he was 81 it was unexpected. He died whilst out and about in town, doing what he loved. He was adamant that he'd carry on going to the seafront to watch the water and get new idea's for his amazing artwork.

I'd like to ask you all to raise a glass/cup of tea to him.

The universe lost a beautiful soul.

Cheers Dad 🥂

I agree, it's a lovely painting. I'm not an art specialist but I know what I like and I would be happy to hang that on the wall.

His art was everything to him, and locally he was very well known. His one dream was to become a great artist... You never know though as that usually happens after death.!

I'm no art critic either but I do know a lot of Dad's work is beautiful, my home is decorated around his paintings and it's hard to believe there'll be no more painted.

Isn't grief a weird thing, the most obscure thoughts pass through your mind.

It has though brought our friends and family in droves, bless em. I'm not alone - and I'm most definitely loved and that's a massive blessing xx

That could be a name to remember in years to come.
