Hi everyone, 

Some of you might remember that this time last year, the Community Team carved some pumpkins and shared the terrifying results here. With Halloween coming up, we are planning on trying our hand at pumpkin carving again, and will share some pictures of it later this week!

We'd love to see pictures of YOUR carvings this year, whether it's of pumpkins, or other veggies like parsnips for example, which used to be the Halloween veg of choice originally 👻

@TallTrees I was really surprise to see carved parsnips, they're actually quite scary 

Did you hang any decorations yourself or are the skeletons hanging in neighbour's windows? Do you get any trick-or-treaters coming to your door where you are? I'm very excited to carve a pumpkin, and make some nice soup out of it afterwards maybe

Yes I think they could be more scarry than pumpkins ~ I can imagine the Parsnip looking horrible! @EmilieT

@TallTrees Very spooky 

So we got together with a few other people in the office, and carved pumpkins as promised! With several of them being opened up, we ended up with a loooot of seeds, that we've since then roasted with spices and turned into nice snacks. I'll also be taking a pumpkin home as well to make a soup or a casserole, undecided as of yet

 

@Martin-O2 and I each carved one pumpkin, can you guess from the below group photo which ones we did?? 🎃

@viridis I believe you did ome amazing pumpkins over the past couple of years, I'd be curious to see what you came up with this time

I can't believe you guessed so quickly  You're right @TallTrees, I did the ghost and @Martin-O2 did the cat. One of my neighbours carved a very detailed owl and I saw it outside their house this morning on my way to work. It was really pretty, and I was impressed no animals had a go at it over the night!
