Problems Accessing Google Play Store & other services

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi - I and a considerable number of other BT Broadband customers appear to be having serious problems accessing Google services using wifi through BT Home Hubs.  If any users of O2 products are experiencing similar problems and connect to BT network by wifi please do get along to the BT Community forum and let them know briefly the sort of problems you are encountering.  You could have a look at http://bit.ly/1i57xnz for starters.

Thanks

Gerry

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for highlighting this issue with Google Play Store / Android.

I can confirm no such issues via the App Store on iPhone / iPad Air using WiFi on my Bt Home Hub 4.

I hope this situation resolves swiftly.

@Anonymous @PapaDug   and @Cleoriff  -  many thanks for the feedback.  Glad you are not having the problem.  Perhaps it is a local issue.

gerry

PS why is it that when I type some @names they turn into blue "live links" and others don't?  See above.

Hi @Anonymous

your most welcome.

to make a name show up in blue to show as a mention it has to be typed exactly right. If it doesn't show up as blue you can opt to edit your thread and re write it.

if your in a pc or mac then after inputting the @ and start writing the members name a list should appear. In a pop up box to choose the name.

Thanks @Anonymous  -  I  knew about the dropdown list, but just did not understand why it did not happen in all cases. Now I know to be careful to get the name right in the first instance.

 Cheers.

Yes typing it in right and with a gap between it and the next word. Don't put in a full stop or comma straight after it.
