As the World Cup is upon us, our second Off Topic poll is related to that.

I doubt that very much....the F1 calendar 2018 was decided halfway through the previous year (2017)....

Also, who would have predicted England would go this far....not me for sure...

PS just thank god it wasn't France this weekend. Qualy started at 3pm...

That was what I was referring to. I watched the footy before qualifying I'm sure. But I was in the pub and lost all track of time...like you do

@jonsie That's really good I don't normally watch football but as my boyfrriend had it on last night I ended up following the end of the game ... those penalties were so stressful!

They were @EmilieT...which is why, when I saw the picture on FB of Harry Kane in various disguises. I thought it funny enough to post here. Harry Kane is renowned for his penalty taking skills.

As it happened we didn't need him alone, as 4/5 of our lads did the job. Which was justice as the other team were the 'dirtiest' bunch of players I have ever watched

Oops sorry @Cleoriff, I misread the thread and thought @jonsie had shared that image, my bad  I hadn't seen any funny images on the back of last night's game until this one, so thanks for a good start to my day!

Even for someone who knew very little of football like myself, it was quite something to watch ... Might even follow Saturday's game again Sweden a bit now  I've heard it's a good team so looking forward to an interesting game?

It's the British F1 this weekend. Its Qualfying an hour before England K.O....and there are usually a few post qualy interviews.....

I do think I will turn over at 3pm to see the start of the match. I can always record the remainder of qualifying
