I can't remember if O2 do the 'you are ##th in the queue' or not but I hate that - I called my bank once and I started at 11th in the queue and in 20 minutes I was only 9th in the queue. Either there aren't many staff, the staff are being very thorough with each customer or they can't be bothered to answer the phone.......

Let's be positive and think it's option #2 - I once called my bank for a very quick query and ended up staying on the phone for 40 minutes rearranging accounts I could have cried.

Some people are very nice and friendly and they invite you into conversation about all sorts of randoms things - they are the people that I like - I don't like the ones who don't seem to want to help and have no manners and rush to get you off the phone.

And then after being on hold waiting for the other advisr, you get cut off and then you throw your phone in frustration - yep that's happened a few times!
