hello,
I am a new customer. Last Friday I managed to preorder the iPhone 17 pro max. I have paid upfront fee and got an order confirmation number, etc.
in the email it says I can track my order in myO2 but when I click the link it shows that I have no orders. 
is this because I’m a new customer and my account has not been activated yet? If so, how can I keep track of my order?

There's no tracking until you get your dispatch email which won't be for a while.

Thank you for responding. Do O2 normally honour the delivery date mentioned in the confirmation email?

Supply of new iPhones is out of O2 control unfortunately.
O2 will allocate their initial stock on a first come, first served basis, then the wait will begin until Apple supply more phones.
