Well, since @Anonymous put a spotlight on my one hobby that doesn't require electricity (with exception of the train tracks, which is for another post) and gets me hopping about (in excitement or pain)*, I've decided to start a little Lego topic here for us all to post photos of our creations - from the instructions or from our own minds... actually, thinking about it, perhaps we need to start a poster-exclusion list now - I've read the rumours thread, you know.

So, welcome to the Lego Topic - a place for the creative person in all of us to look, to enjoy, to share, to dribble over**, to contribute, to suggest, to.... something or other... just make sure you clean up after yourself.

More info
*I need to order some thick slippers for Christmas, I think. Or, you know, clean up after myself.

**Of course dribbling is allowed - this isn't a branch of Dixons, you know.

So, I've been a bit busy of late - which translates as a lot busy.  So, here goes - I got to look at the Lego yesterday...

The Table

the table has been tidied, for a start, then another layer added to the block of flats (right) and the office has been revamped to look a little more swish...

The House

The house is now 5 floors, including the attic flat.  The stairwell has been re-done to accommodate this and lift off better.  The girls enjoy the fact that they can reach the flats logically...

O2 office

Where does @Toby@Marjo and @Martin-O2 work?  Well, it could be here... their office is now a glass-fronted building next door.

Next job on my list is to amend the inside of the office a bit, adding more computers and people for other photos...

liking the builds @Daddydoink ... there's even a grey cat Cat Very Happy ... I like the way you put yourself in the builds

You say you have girls, so Lego is not a boy only toy then?

I loved playing Lego with my son when he was younger :womanvery-happy:

Well @Anonymous I have to say the girls will argue with anyone saying it is just for boys.  They play just as much if not more than me - there are so many builds going on in this house at the moment - one of the children is building a shop and another is wanting to make a dump truck to go with the diggers.  Several minifigs got married earlier, too.

We've got a constantly evolving little world here - I think the current set up with stay for a while, although for how long is anyone's guess... might have to build another something soon though - not sure what.  The only way, it appears at the moment, is up...

Well I've learned something new today...Lego babies! I didn't know they existed at all.

Great looking set @Daddydoink, are these buildings modeled on something specific? Apologies if I've missed this info earlier in the thread!

No, they're just buildings we've built.  The children ask for stuff, I help them work out what they need, they build them up.  And yes, I really want the park set with the people and Lego wheelchair etc too...
