We keep on hearing about how "forum savvy" certain people are, but they sometimes forget they aren't the only ones

We can, if needed. It's not our policy, we don't access PMs and would only do it if absolutely necessary. Personally I've never done it in my entire career.

Bit pointless having a PRIVATE message function then if people other then the person it was sent to can access it.

I just stated that we don't access PMs. Every administrator in every public forum has the ability to access private messages.

To be honest I've never ever seen this in any community T&Cs. Has anybody else seen it?

Thats why i'm asking you Chiara,

Ive not seen this and nor am i able to locate this anywhere.

All members past and new need to know this before accepting the forums T&C's to signing up.
