I've managed to be in the US for many of the National celebrations but I haven't managed to be there for Thanksgiving yet, so I must get round to it one year.

I have been invited to a Thanksgiving party (I think it's with a turkey and all!) this Saturday. Looking forward to it.

I'm sort of lucky where I've been in the US for many of the celebration dates, Thanksgiving, July 4th, Halloween,. Christmas etc. We think we celebrate here in the UK but if you have sat on Venice Beach and celebrated Independence Day with our American friends then you just watch the fireworks in awe, enjoy the free barbecues and be adoptive Americans for the day....if no one has yet visited the USA then scrimp, save and embrace being a Brit in the wonderous country where you are welcomed like family.
