Although the season has yet to begin and we won't see the cars till next month when testing begins, I will start this thread off by wishing Lewis Hamilton a Happy 35th Birthday

Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, car and shoes, possible text that says 'Happy'

This may be the year he wins his 7th WDC equalling Michael Schumacher. Who knows? He will certainly have Ferrari and the Red Bulls chasing him. Also with some luck and more power in the Honda engine, I am expecting McLaren to be in the mix as well....wink

Even worse when you realise I'm away for the first two races!! Certainly didn't expect Bahrain would be the week after Australia!!

Oh well, will take PC and have SkyGo and hope I get a good connection!!

Whilst I never really enjoy the Aussie F1, it's always good to know the season has started slight_smile

I am seriously worried that F1 is still in the same awful dreadful state with a highly dominant team that has a strong driver and a pretty weak driver.

The bookies prediction is that LH is odds on (3 to 2 on) to be champ in 2020.
With the next being LeClerc at 5 to 1 against.

The only interest is

Who will be 2nd, LeClerc or Verstappen ?

How will Vettel react to this ?

Which team will be fourth ?

I hope LH does win his 7th even though there will be those who STILL say he will never be as good as the cheating Michael Schumacher.

As Ferrari had a championship winning car last year and the year before, I think Leclerc will be 2nd.

I think Vettel will retire and I'm hoping McLaren will be 4th.wink

Someone must’ve pointed me to a site that adds the F1 dates to my Apple calendar.. just checked it and Feb is littered with dates for showing off cars... much excitement!

As expected, the coronavirus is having an affect on the different Formula races.

The FIA have announced the Formula E race, due to take place on March 20th has been cancelled.

The F1 race on April 19th is also under threat.

A decision will need to be made soon as the logistics of moving the whole F1 circus to another circuit on the calendar is complicated, time consuming and pretty near impossible.

I can see most of the Asian events being affected unless the virus is brought under control soon.

Yes all of them on that side of the world. This won't affect just the F1 but all sport.
