Mum and Dad turned it into a coal hole eventually. Once they had a toilet put in upstairs.

Shame....as back in the day it was Mum's pride and joy. Red tile paint. Whitwashed walls and immaculate Smiley Very Happy

....though you needed a safe cracker to open the tin which was always slippery after use....you finally get the lid off and see the finger marks and think...should I or shouldn't I?

Anyway as this thread is called Do You Remember.......I would just say some of you remember my hubby with the chainsaw massacre of the bushes in the garden. He was asked to 'prune them back'...(he razed them to the ground)...Excuse me if I dash off...he has the chainsaw in his hand again...ready to 'prune back' the very large fuschia bush in the front garden. I have my stun gun at the ready....:idk:idk:idk

It's electric. I just went out and gave him easy to follow instructions....and stood over him for a few minutes.....LOL
