You have probably heard of, or maybe even listened to, the BBC Desert Island Discs, in which folks choose which 8 records they would take with them to a desert island, along with one luxury (cannot be anything to escape or rescue - so no boat, tablet or internet connection [sorry 02]) and one book (except The Bible and works of Shakespeare which are provided).

I thought it`d be a bit of fun for posters to share their Desert Island Discs

Here`s mine:

8 songs:

- Imagine (John Lennon)

- Let It Be (The Beatles)

- Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen)

- My Generation (The Who)

- The Times They Are A-changing (Bob Dylan)

- Sounds Of Silence (Simon & Garfunkel)

- A Whiter Shade Of Pale (Procul Harem)

- All You Need Is Love (The Beatles)

Luxury:

- duvet [for the cold nights]

Book:

- Guiness Book Of World Records

(I know I`ll never achieve any of them but it`d be fun seeing what folks have achieved)

I have commented on your post on this, and would like to reiterate here and apologise for not doing a proper search before creating this thread.

It is not, and never will be, my intention to take someone else`s ideas and again am sincerely sorry.
Also it is regretable that your thread did not receive posts. Whatever it is I have, Idon`t know only that I have daft ideas and sometimes get a bit carried away and am embarrassed that that has caused this.

Please @Mi-Amigo have a look at my reply to your comment on your thread ... & ... @Cleoriff's measured & informed response ... You havn't taken my idea ... & ... please again don't be embarrassed as it's not necessary ... I've had many a daft post & have people comment on it ... but ... I'm still here

A funny ... at one time, some time ago, threads were being 'resurrected' ... I believe it was @viridis who commented that it must be Easter coming up
