Can anyone (maybe @Anonymous ?) confirm if the tariffs listed here are payg and that you can top up as and when and not required to do it regularly please?

Also, can they be used in dongles?

Just wanting a sanity check on O2's logic, thanks.......

So, I ordered a sim which arrived today, put it in my dongle and no signal.

Ok, so maybe I need to register it first (shouldn't have to as it's payg, but I'll try it anyway)

"we're sorry but this number does not exist" - What ???

On to live chat......

info: Welcome to O2. Someone will be with you soon.
info: You're through to '02'
o2: Hi I'm o2. How can I help?
me: Hi, I'm trying to register and top up a mobile broadband sim but the website keeps saying the number doesn't exist?
o2: I'll help you with this.
o2: Can you please help me with the SIM card serial number of your SIM card, it's on the back of your SIM card and might be starting with 894411 or else with 0065....
o2: For the Mobile Broadband SIM card.
me: 0066086387296
o2: I can see that this SIM card is permanently disconnected therefore you can't Top-Up this SIM card.
Gaurav: Its possible that this SIM card was disconnected because of not using it for more then 6 months.
me: I have just received it today from o2???
o2: I'm sorry but this SIM card is permanently disconnected and also this is not a Broadband SIM card.

So the nice man on live chat has ordered me another (correct) sim card - good job I ain't in no hurry LOL
