Hi, my mum is on an ‘airtime plan’ paying £15 for 10G of data. I have seen a plan on Uswitch that’s 70G of data for £10 per month. There seems to be no option to switch tariffs on the webpage or app other than to switch to an even more expensive one or order a new sim. How does one switch to another tariff that’s still o2 without losing their phone number?

The upgrade option is currently missing. It happened before and came back so keep checking if you're prepared to wait.
If not, take the new deal then migrate the old number to the new one.
