NOT the homemade mince pie. Usually I would make mince pies.
Recently bought the Mr. Kipling mince pie and have the manufacturers upped their game? YES
Very nice warmed and with whipped cream ๐
Waitrose mince pie with almond topping .. Frangipane... lovely
Tesco finest Frangipane mince pies ... ๐
Frangipane is a nice change too.. all with a good helping of fresh whipped cream.
With a large cup of coffee and lots of cream on top!
Enjoy your Christmas treats .. happy Christmas ๐

Both Costa and Nero do a nice, if pricey, large mince tart... But the in-store "Sainsbury's Short Crust Mince Pies x4" are really nice at ยฃ1.50 for 4. I love that you can see the product, and pick a pack with slightly darker and crunchier crust, if that's your thing...nice eaten straight from the pack, but equally tasty if warmed up in the oven.

I've had Sainsbury's short crust deep filled mince pies for years.
Not keen on home made if honest. Those above look lovely @TallTrees
One thing I hate is how the shops stop selling mince pies after Christmas!
