And that's it. I've counted and there seems to be more contestants this year?

It will be presented as usual by Phil and Holly.

Looking forward to it.

Was a show better than I expected to the point I actually enjoyed it. Pleasantly surprised to discover the second batch weren't as bad as they looked last week but a week extra practice showed. Lighting less harsh this week thankfully but not impressed by the pro routine/1st batch group thing and the forgettable guest singers who can't move.

Unless they tell us more later on, I am still wondering what has happened to Caprice and Hamish? Holly said 'they have parted ways but will be back next week'?

Judges challenge , lunge, stop and pivot.

Lisa and Tom. Excellent skate to the Deadwood Stage from Calamity Jane. Scored 28

Kevin and Brianne. Much improved. Skated to Cheek to cheek. Scored 22

Lucrezia and Brendyn Mamma Mia. Better than their first skate. Scored 21

Maura and Alix. Lacks confidence though skated well to For Oene Night Only. Scored 25

Ben and Carlotta Sandy from Grease. Thought he was undermarked. Scored 24

Joe and Alexandra. Skated to 'If I only had a Brain' Not much skating and scored 20.5

Sending this whilst the millionth advert is on!

Libby and Mark. Sorry but a lot of sympathy voting going on here. She completely messed up the judges challenge yet scored 28??

Radzi and Jess. Skated well as Shrek. Scored 24.5

Ian and Matt. Another sympathy vote. Totally out of sync yet scored 26.5

Perri and Vanessa. Skated to the Lion King. Absolutely superb. Well deserved 32 and top of the leaderboard.

More adverts!! So posting before skate off.

Kevin + Brianne and Lucrezia+Brendyn In Skate off...

Lucrezia and Brendyn are out.

Missed the first two skates as the football was on and Liverpool just about crowned themselves Premier league champions in the last second.

Didn't get the marking at all - Libby made the obvious mistake and didn't get marked down and H was just downright terrible to even justify a six. Libby to be fair was very competent bar that mistake but it will get harder for her yet I suspect without the sympathy vote, she's still going to be in for a few weeks yet.

Radzi should have got extra marks for skating in that Shrek outfit that obviously affected his centre of gravity. Yet H gets more???? Agree, Ben was undermarked and is enjoyable to watch which I can't say of Maura. If she doesn't watch out, she could be out by being bland. Or get a written warning not to swear whilst on live prime time TV rofl

Perri: 2nd week and I think we have this series winner. Yet no mention of the fact he did it topless...I quite liked Joe Swash's effort but time to get serious next week as his cheeky smile won't last. Didn't quite catch it on the VT but did he play The Mum card already?

Since I missed the announcement about Caprice till I worked it out at the end she was missing. No idea why either but we'll wait till sometime next week before it comes out. My guess is that she's one of the contestants on The Masked Singer clown

I shall have to watch This Morning tomorrow to find out about Caprice. Rumour currently saying her husband didn't like her skating with Hamish due to his jealousy. All sounds a bit suspect to me!! If she is back next week with a new partner, then unless she skates with a woman, the same thing will happen again. rofl

This sympathy marking for Libby has to stop. She has said constantly she wants to be marked for her skating  and not her disability. I think the judges are patronising her by marking her so high. Having said that, she was overmarked for her first skate so to mark her lower would have made the judges look foolish.

Same goes for Ian and Matt. Their marks reflect a 'same sex couple skating together for the first time ever on the show'.  No doubt viewing figures would go down if they were voted off!

Perri is in a class of his own.
