The new series of Dancing On Ice officially starts in January 2020, although there will be a Christmas Special in 2019.
Last year a few people posted on the thread including @Glory1 so we will see how we go this year.
The main news is Jason Gardiner has left the show and John Barrowman will replace him. So no more nasty comments (shame)
The contestants are....
Maura Higgins (from Love Island)
Michael Barrymore.
Joe Swash (ex Eastenders now TV Presenter)
H From Steps. He will make history as the first contestant to dance with a same sex partner.
(Not sure how that will work but let's wait and see)....
Perri Kiely (Dancer from Diversity) Let's see how Ashley Banjo marks him!!)
Lisa George (Who plays Beth Tinker in Coronation Street)
Libby Clegg (Registered Blind Paralympian)
Trisha Goddard (Talk show host/TV Presenter)
Lucrezia Millarini (ITV news presenter)
Kevin Kilbane (Former Footballer and TV Pundit)
Ben Hanlin. Magician (best known for TV show Tricked)
Caprice Bourret (Model, Actress Blah blah blah )
And that's it. I've counted and there seems to be more contestants this year?
It will be presented as usual by Phil and Holly.
Looking forward to it.

Since I missed the announcement about Caprice till I worked it out at the end she was missing. No idea why either but we'll wait till sometime next week before it comes out. My guess is that she's one of the contestants on The Masked Singer
Yes Liverpool were hanging on until that last second breakaway
....and Caprice was my guess for TMS

I missed the first two - yes I was watching Liverpool...
I agree on most of the comments made. Ben was under-rated by the judges; sympathy votes for Libby - although she skated well; tactical votes for H [is the whole "same sex partner" wearing a little thin?]; Perrie was by far the best skater...

Libby did skate well UNTIL she completely messed up the judges challenge. This was when the voting became farcical. Sympathy votes which she has said she does NOT want.
As for H and Matt, their performance was worse then Joe's and Radzi's (who were in full costume) The judges said H and Matt were out of sync and then marked them high!
Bring back Jason I say!!

It's quite ridiculous because the early shows are definitely fixed. You won't expect to see H and Matt voted out anytime soon.

Soooooo no point in watching Sunday's show as we now know who is going to be in the bottom two with a high probability of going home. Perhaps thats why T&D are dancing as the producers did a bit of forward planning.

Surely if can’t dance with your partner then you should be kicked off, just as if you couldn’t dance with your partner and you got voted off..
I totally agree @Anonymous . Caprice was very happy to get Hamish as a professional partner, so why should she be allowed to change? I hope no-one votes for her next week!!
