But...
The clown's mask we wear on a daily basis sometimes carries over to the written word Trying to be amusing does not always reflect one's own feelings at that particular time.
However reading other people's comments does help to take your mind off your circumstances and your general health problems
Thank you @Mi-Amigo for the nomination 😊
Well you got my vote as well!!
Totally agree about the 'clowns mask' or as I call it 'Painting a smile on'
However, this OFF TOPIC place is where can all do that...(and sometime other areas as well...
The laughs I have had on here and the forum in general, have been good medicine.

Oh I may have voted for the wrong one (though yesterdays was funny...hang on....)
Yes I did. I thought yesterdays was funny but the one the week before that was a picture quiz.

I'll leave that to @Mi-Amigo to tell you who's left. Though I do know we haven't got a Tweddledum...or Tweedledee?
@MarjoThanks for wanting to be character The ones on the original poster on page 1 of this thread, which have not been claimed are:
The Walrus
The Carpenter
The Caterpillar
Tweedledee
Tweedledum
As we are slightly bending things here, we are allowing characters from Alice`s Adventure In Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass, so you could also choose from - amongst others -
The Knave Of Hearts
The Jubjub Bird
The Lion
The Unicorn
The Bandersnatch
Whichever you choose, I`ll try and find an image of the character and incorporate it into the next poster.
Now you have the list and you will be joining us, maybe you could "persuade" , your co-workers to also join the maddest thread in "off topic"
The Lion! I like big cats and also my zodiac sign is Leo so that sounds like a good one for me. 🦁
Haha The Walrus sounds cool though (my moustache is not long enough)

Thank you for getting back...
If you want to be The Lion, that`s fine, although to be honest, The Walrus is way better known [and as you probably gathered we are all Beatles` fans, which inspired John to write "I Am The Walrus"]. I dunno if the others agree but I would so love to have The Walrus as part of Alice`s Tea Party, it would be so cool, maybe your could ask @Martin-O2 and @EmilieT if they`d like to be The Walrus and The Carpenter?

Yes, @Cleoriff I think that's the one @Mi-Amigo probably had in mind.
I vote for @jonsie's posts as the funniest, either one as they both made me laugh out loud

@Glory1 I must admit my Alice in Wonderland knowledge is extremely basic but purely based on the names I like The Caterpillar or The Bandersnatch.
