Yep @Marjo ...there she goes. rofl

On a serious note, I was watching a programme yesterday about pets at Christmas. Theey had a vet on and he was telling you all the dangers for cats and dogs at Christmas. Obviously the tree was mentioned and exactly whet that cat is doing. Apparently if they eat any of the tree, the spikey branches can cause intestinal obstruction and/or perforation. I know that seems obvious but the food to avoid shocked me.

Chicken or turkey skin is a no no due to the fat content which can cause vomiting. Pork or lamb isn't good either due to the high fat content.

I knew chocolate was poisonous, however I had no idea about mince pies or christmas pudding. Not poisonous but contains ingredients which can make pets ill.

 

My cats love chicken skin, though only have it rarely. I think it was a general warning for those people who think their pets should also have a Christmas dinner like the rest of us!!
