I'm so late but I just saw your comment above @Anonymous  - that's so true!  We had to tie the Christmas tree in the past with some rope to the curtain rail so it wouldn't fall down with the cat climbing on it, which always happened!

Yes he fell out of the tree and broke his arm...

Our cats never touched our tree. Just one who attempted to knock one of the lower baubles onto the floor so she could chase it.

That's a funny image of your son @jonsie , apart from the broken arm! I bet he didn't climb the tree after that?
