Having just bought a Blu Ray player (yes, I know I'm a few years behind, but....) I was wondering what films you guys have got on Blu Ray that really show off it's full potential....?

Nope, never heard of those until you mentioned it, 3d tv is just a fad, too expensive & a lot of people won't buy it

Agreed:) blu ray is the pinnacle of quality at the moment. 3d is just a poor gimmic that I hope doesn't take off.

But 4k makes HDTV look like a CRT haha. Beautiful!

It won't take off as you need to have at least £3000 to buy a 3d tv then you need to buy the glasses which I think start around the £50 mark, then if you have sky, you need to buy the 3d channels. There aren't many 3d DVDs or blu rays available either

Right, thanks all for the suggestions - I have a few on my shopping list now slight_smile
Yes Leonard, just a normal DVD before but obviously have a lot of DVD's too so just want to replace some of the "epic" movies rather than my whole collection.....
