Hey everyone,

2018’s Drone Photography competition has come to a close and the winner has been announced. The entries were divided into 6 categories, Abstract, Nature, People, Sport, Wildlife and Urban.

There have been some truly stunning shots submitted this year! I’ve selected a few of my favourites below along with the overall winner.

I know we have a few drone pilots on the Community so feel free to post your shots below!

You can check out all the entries here. If you were judging the competition which picture would you choose as the winner?

A pity you didn't know about the competition @viridis. Though I've seen this one of yours before, it's still glorious wink

Love these @viridis! My favourites are the night shot of the pier and the top down image of the wall/tower.

I'll make a note of the UK Drone show competition and DJI Skypixel awards and make a post when they come around. wink

Simply stunning @viridis.
Out of interest, what is your set up to take those? Do you use the same camera for all or are there different ones for different situations (like lenses for a DSLR)?

I have two drones for different situations,
The Mavic Air for more portability, has the same camera sensor as Galaxy S8 so not too shabby.
And the Phantom 4 Pro for planned shoots.
This has a 1" Sony exmor RS sensor, same one that's in the Sony RX100V So a much more detailed camera with much more quality.

So, having just googled those I don't think I'll be getting one soon...
