Sir Henry Moore ... old alumni of where I went to Senior school.
'I'd rather have my sculpture in the landscape, than on the most beautiful building I know'
One of his recurring themes ... ... ... King and Queen ... ... ... in Scotland, I believe, hopefully still in situ.
One of my favourite pieces of his work, yes we studied his work to GCE A level in 3D Art classes
A long-stitch tapestry I did from a kit and which my then husband had framed for me.

Two of my favourite artists are Gustav Klimt and Kandinsky.
Klimt was an Austrian Symbolist painter and I bought this print from Ikea in Spain (yes Ikea!) to go on the wall in my apartment in Spain.
Its called Water Serpent.
He did a range called sea serpents, sea urchins, water serpents. I have no artistic reason for buying it, other than it went with the decor of the apartment. It certainly was a talking point...

@Anonymous wrote:I just have loads of questions : what is that object which looks like it has been beached upon the shore with a bill like a duck and has a floppy pocket watch upon it
Why are the pockets watches floppy
There are ants on a tray-like pocket watch
There seems to be a solar powered block levitating
A dead tree growing out of a table
A nice seashore in the distance
To me, that`s the whole point @Anonymous . Everyone will "see" something different. While you see a duck, ants, and a solar powered block, others will think the objects are something else...
I would have loved to have seen the surreal painting by the students in your Art class

That is really beautiful @Cleoriff
It's so detailed, must have taken many hours to do and a very fine brush!
Thank you I am putting it in my gallery ❤
The prints are available from Wayfair @TallTrees
