Hi guys!

Do any of you like electronic music? smiley

Beak> are an electronic music band from England who released their first album in 2009. They have announced their new album last month which is expected to come out in September.

Beak

Priority tickets go on sale this week, Wednesday 15th August at 9am, to their gig taking place in Oxford at the O2 Academy2 on 28 November 2018.

If you've never listed to their songs, here's one below called Brean Down:

Let us know in the comments what you think of the band, if you've ever attended any of their gigs, and if you're intending to go to the Oxford one in November? Happy Dance

The only electronic dance band worth a mention is The Prodigy.

Yes I've been to see them in concert in 2016 and it was an experience I'll never forget.

There again they are a one off and nothing like Kraftwerk or any of the others.

They are rude, loud and brash. The atmosphere at their concerts is electric. Quite superb....

They started in 1990 and can still fill stadiums here and abroad.

Oh yeah I used to listen to Kraftwerk too! slight_smile

Have you listened to Portishead @pgn? One of the guys in Beak are also from Portishead and I read in the comments when I was browsing the Beak songs on YouTube yesterday that some of the tracks are a bit similar. slight_smile

Prodigy I also listened to @Cleoriff, some awesome tracks there. I remember there was a several weeks' queue when trying to borrow the Fat of the Land album from the library at the time as it was so popular. grin
