Hi, hope this is in the correct section.
i have recently taken out a contract, signed the agreement and paid the upfront cost. Got an email stating I’ll have a response to my credit check within 24 hours, it’s currently pushing on 36 hours and I haven’t had any phone call or email to say what’s happening.
do I need to be concerned?

I’ve contacted them and had conflicting answers. One stating it hasn’t gone through but I’ve had the confirmation email and paid £45.20 which has been taken out my bank. I’m at a lose end with it.

According to live chat my order is still in pending stage but within the same chat the same chat advisor said this message means I've been declined

I am not sure how much good it will do you, but have you tried e-mailing the "Credit File Referrals" team as suggested by Mangesh to see what information they will give to you ?

I think that when O2 say they will contact you within x days @Jamietomlin123, that is more an aspiration than a commitment. You will need to keep chasing them.
