Hey there @cath1971 and anyone else who comes across this topic slight_smile

We've checked internally about this notification and can confirm what was mentioned above. To clarify,  it's a planned activity in the My O2 app and the behaviour is normal. This was a change implemented in the latest app release where My O2 collects anonymised Network measurement data used to improve customers' network experience overall and spot any issues as they are occurring. There is no data charges or data taken from bundles for this in case any of you have questions about that, even though it might show as data usage on the mobile data settings in iOS and Android. thumbsup

No, never had that.

Download Malwarebytes and scan your phone for any adware.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:

It’s the O2 “MyNetwork” app

Open app. From the drop down menu choose:

“My experiences”

“Measurements” last on the screen

Select “Disable

Hi there, sorry it took me a while to get a response to your question @coiner .

You can disable the network notification this way:

  1. click on the profile picture top right
  2. select Security and Privacy
  3. select Network Preferences
  4. Toggle to rejected and save

Note that I've just checked this on my phone and I had to update the My O2 app before I found this setting.
