I ordered a new iPad 36 hours ago and haven’t received confirmation or any details about my order being accepted?

Is it taking longer than usual because of COVID-19? When will I know if my order has been accepted? They’ve taken £20 from my account and send me all the necessary documents regarding terms and conditions and direct debit agreement. Does this mean I’ve been accepted?

Things will be taking a little bit longer due to the current pandemic. Also its Easter weekend so please bare that in mind. As you've received all your T&Cs and they've taken an upfront payment that suggests the deal has been accepted. You will be notified when the iPad has been dispatched.

It may be that a credit check is needed which will be Tuesda at the earliest.

Once accepted you will get contracts by email.

I’ve received the Standard European Consumer Credit Information, Phone Plan Consumer Credit Agreement, Pay Monthy Terms and Conditions and an email to say they’ve received my order and it’s full steam ahead their end? Was just wondering if I’d been accepted and that perhaps it was taking longer because of COVID-19.

Yes you have been accepted

You need to open the emails and the links that they contain

That counts as your acceptance by digital signature

Now you need to wait for the dispatch email stock permitting

Maybe that’s why, I couldn’t open the attachment via email. So I’ve opened them on the computer.

No still haven’t heard anything. I ordered it a week ago today, haven’t sent me an email or anything. Is this normal?
