Hi I got a new phone from my employer and it supports havent a second e-sim.

I want to convert my current sim to an e-sim and add it to the new phone.

Various sites say you can do this through the my 02 site and through the my 02 app but I cannot find the option to do so.

Can you help me?

Thanks

@silverstoned

First check with your employer that they are happy for you to have a personal sim in a work issued phone, some will block the esim capability

Second you will nee to go to an o2 store with Photo ID and get an esim pack, this is the quickest way, as if you do it via Customer Services they will cut off your line until the new sim is either received or activated.

eSIM - How to activate

--
iPhone 16 Pro Max - o2 and Spusu
Xperia 1V - Spusu

--
This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

O2 have made things difficult.

Best way is to call into an O2 shop with photo ID

The other way is to order through Customer Services and it will be delivered for install to My O2

That is fraught with the danger of your present SIM being immediately turned off and the possibility you won't get security code to log in to MyO2

eSIM - How to activate

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

o2 and eSims are not a great mix @silverstoned so if you don't have to I wouldn't.

Does the phone support having two physical sims instead?

If you must, then you can either do this through your My o2 account, visiting your local o2 store or calling customer services.

More information in the guide eSIM - How to activate

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).
