You don't have any products or services in this My O2 account.

I have a new phone/contract with o2 which I got on Friday (purchased from mobiles.co.uk).  Each time I log in I just get the error 'You don't have any products or services in this My O2 account.'

Is this common for new accounts?

New accounts with O2 directly should show immediately.
Ones from 3rd parties may take longer.
It may also be worth checking with customer services if nothing happens in a few days, just to check you have the correct login details.

I already had a preexisting O2 login prior to the contract as I purchased something from them back in 2014.  When I logged in on Friday it asked for my phone number which I entered.  Any screen after that point just comes up with that error.

I'm waiting for my number to port into O2 still so once that is in place i'll give them a call.

Cheers.

Slightly different circumstances here..

When I bought a payg phone, I had to sign up and enter my new number myself!

But it's your old account you are logging into, isn't it?

@Martin-O2

The issue is resolved but it seems to have been a bit of a mess.  I used the online chat and someone transfered the account details for my phone number into my account.  All looks well apart from I had to setup a new password and now this forum account is also new.  I also can't reuse my previous forum alias it seems hence me replying from this account now.

Either way, I got what I was after.
