I have tried multiple times to sign onto my o2 with no luck and I have changed the password

Seems a perennial problem.

Can you sign in Via the Website.

Could try deleting and reinstalling the app otherwise

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

The suggestion by @Enlli to delete and reinstall the app is well worth a try, but after deleting, I would suggest that you restart your 'phone before reinstalling the app.
