Ok so hopefully you guys can help. I ordered apple airpods from 02 for £116.10 I don’t want finance I bought outright. I entered my details and my bank details and placed the order. A few hours later no email, so I called them to see why, I was told the order didn’t go through even tho item was in stock, I checked my bank and the money had been taken, so I call and get told the order was unsuccessful and to wait 10 days for my money to go back… I have never heard of this in my life when I order from Argos the money is taken and the item is sent a few days later never have they taken money for a unsuccessful order.. so now I have to apparently wait 10 days for the money back, I have no proof from them that I made a order as I got no confirmation email and I now won’t have time to get them for Christmas after 10 days.. I have even contacted the ceo and been ignored. What can I do, because this is ridiculous and shouldn’t be happening. I wish I had checked the trustpilot reviews before I ordered.  
can’t get through to English call centre just Indian centre and everything shouting in background

Your bank has marked the payment as pending. When it is not called on by O2 it is returned to your account. O2 has not got your money

The timescale for returning your money is down to your bank.

You need to speak to them

 

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

The bank have said to wait and see if they take the money or not, 02 have said it will be reversed in 7-10 days. What a joke how they can take money without an order.

And how do I know they won’t call the money, if they have frozen the payment in my bank without any order being processed what stopping them from taking the money??

Well at least you will know not to use O2.

As we are all customers here there is nothing we can do, sorry to say. 

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
