Hello.
I want to port my Vodafone Pay as you go plan to O2 plans. I still dont know which one. But I need to know a few details, because I work with internet, and cannot stop recieving the service. I live in Kilkeel ([Removed]), and it is said you ve got 5G good service, as I checked. Is it really true for pay as you go plans? What about contract plans? If I choose, say, an unlimited plan, am I forced to keep the contract for 24 months? Are there any contract alternatives more flexible (for example, in the case I move on to another country)? If there are, which? If I wanted to change to O2, may it be possible in 24 hours, with independence of the plan chosen (I cannot afford to lose internet connection)?
Thanks in advance,

At the moment O2 don't support 5G on PAYG

All contracts come with a minimum term so if you move to another country or wish to change network you would have to pay all months remaining
The other option would be a 30 day sim only but you get little value for money
Porting on O2 is slow and not within the 24 hour next day completion
I doubt O2 is the network you need...

You @RodrigoSeverin would be wise not to rely on coverage maps ; get PAYG SIMs from each provider and actually test the signal in the locations that you frequent. 👍

I deed, Oxonian. That would be the wisest option. Thank you very much.

You are welcome @RodrigoSeverin ; it is well worth spending a few quid on PAYG credit if it avoids you signing up to a contract that is not appropriate for your needs. 👍
